AIP: Er Rashidhas remained steadfast in raising issues concerning J&K
Srinagar, July 8 -- Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) chief spokesperson Inam Un Nabi on Tuesday said that Baramulla MP Er Rashid had written to Union minister for information & broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw seeking the filling up of 97 vacant Senior Grade IIS Group-B posts in the Kashmiri language, a reply for which has been receivednow.
Adding that despite being incarcerated, Er Rashid, has remained steadfast in raising issues concerning the identity, language and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, Nabi said Union minister has responded to Rashid's communication, stating: "Your suggestion has been forwarded to the concerned authority for further examination."
Welcoming the minister's response, AIP chief spokesperson, expressed hope that the matter would be considered expeditiously.
He said filling these long-pending vacancies would not only create employment opportunities for qualified youth but also strengthen the promotion, preservation and institutional representation of the Kashmiri language....
