Srinagar, Sept. 25 -- Eight tourist guides have been arrested for allegedly harassing tourists and obstructing passengers in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday. Police said that the action was taken to prevent harassment of tourists visiting Gulmarg and Tangmarg resorts. "Baramulla police have arrested eight tourist guides found accosting, harassing and obstructing tourists and passengers in the Tangmarg area," a police spokesperson said. The arrested persons will be produced before the judicial magistrate for further course of legal action, the spokesperson said.
