Dharamshala, June 29 -- The Special Task Force (STF) of district Kangra intercepted three suspicious individuals near Shastri ITI, Jasur, and during the search recovered 223 grams of heroin from their possession, police officials said on Sunday. The STF, tasked with strengthening the resolve of a drug-free Himachal, was on a routine patrol when they received information regarding the same. The department spokesperson said that all three accused were nabbed on the spot and necessary legal action was initiated against them. A case has been registered under the provisions of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act at Nurpur police station. Further investigation was under progress to ascertain the source, supply chain and other possible links in the drug trafficking network....
