Srinagar, June 11 -- Two soldiers were killed in an accidental blast near the Line of Control in Uri, officials said on Wednesday. Officials said the incident occurred in the Kamalkote sector of Uri, close to the LoC. The two soldiers were injured and shifted to the Army's 92 Base Hospital where doctors pronounced them both dead. The deceased have been identified as Chavan Vikram Balakrishna of Airoli and Arjun Jadhav Rajindra of Shahpur in Karad tehsil, Maharashtra. Officials said the blast took place very close to the LoC near the fence during patrolling. The army has started an investigation into the nature of the blast. The army is yet to issue an official statement on the matter....
