Dharamshala, March 27 -- Two people were killed and two others injured after a car collided with a private bus on the Mandi-Kullu National Highway in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district, police officials said on Thursday. The deceased have been identified as Shashank Sharma, 23 and Gayatri Devi, 22, both of Baldwara Tehsil in Mandi. The accident occurred near Pandoh Dam at around 8:45 am. The car, which was coming from the Kullu side, collided with the bus that was headed to Kullu from Mandi. The injured persons were rushed to Zonal Hospital, Mandi, where they are undergoing treatment. Upon receiving information, the Pandoh police reached the spot, took the bodies into custody, informed the families, and sent the bodies for post-mortem.
