Nagaur, June 16 -- A road accident in the Jasnagar police station area of Nagaur district on Monday morning claimed the lives of three members of the same family and injured six others. Three of the injured were referred to Jaipur due to their critical condition. The family was travelling to Pushkar for a holy dip on the occasion of Somvati Amavasya. According to Jasnagar Station House Officer Chhitarmal, a bus was travelling from Jasnagar towards Anandpur Kalu, while a car was coming from the opposite direction towards Jasnagar. The two vehicles collided head-on on the Luni River causeway, causing the car to overturn. All occupants of the car sustained serious injuries in the crash. In the collision, three people, including a seven-year-old girl, lost their lives. The car was carrying nine members of the same family from Jaitaran. The accident took place at around 7 am on Monday. Villagers who rushed to the scene rescued the victims from the overturned car and immediately shifted them to Jasnagar Hospital, where doctors declared three people dead. The deceased were identified as Jitendra (40), son of Bhim Singh; Sheila (35), wife of Rajaram; and Mannu (7), daughter of Yogesh. Six other family members travelling in the car were seriously injured and were initially taken to Jaitaran for treatment. Three of them were later referred to Jaipur after their condition became critical. Preliminary investigation revealed that all the car occupants were originally residents of Karauli district and were working as labourers in the Jaitaran area Further investigation into the accident is underway.of Beawar district....
