Jaipur, Aug. 13 -- Members of the Dalit community staged a protest in Jaipur on Wednesday demanding that the government challenge the high court's verdict acquitting all 40 accused in the 2015 Dangawas massacre case. Dalit organisations, under the banner of the Rajasthan Ambedkar Welfare Society, gathered at the Martyrs' Memorial in Jaipur, where activists, common people and relatives of those killed in the violence also arrived. Protesters raised questions over the investigation and prosecution of the case and demanded effective legal action to ensure justice. Society president and former IPS officer Satyaveer Singh said, "Who is responsible for the deaths of six people?"
