Jaipur, Sept. 24 -- The BJP has appointed senior leader and Rajya Sabha MP from Haryana, Sanjay Bhatia, as its Rajasthan in-charge, replacing Radha Mohan Das Agrawal. Rajya Sabha MP Kavita Patidar and Delhi BJP leader Kuljeet Chahal have been named co-in-charges. The appointments, part of a wider reshuffle of the party's state and Union territory in-charges, take effect immediately, according to an order by the BJP's central office in Delhi. Bhatia takes charge after the Rajasthan civic elections and ahead of the panchayat polls. The new team will oversee the party's organisational work as it reviews its performance in the urban contests and prepares for the next round of elections. Patidar, an MP from Madhya Pradesh, has worked on issues concerning OBCs and women's representation. Chahal is a Delhi BJP leader and a member of the New Delhi Municipal Council.
