Jaipur, July 27 -- Amid the nationwide controversy over recruitment exam paper leaks, Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Chairman Retired Colonel Kesri Singh on Sunday, suddenly inspected four examination centres during the Junior Law Officer (JLO) recruitment examination in Jaipur. He asserted that no RPSC examination paper has been leaked since he assumed office in October 2023 and said the commission would ensure that paper leaks do not occur in the future. The JLO recruitment examination is being conducted at 53 centres across Jaipur. A total of 13,245 candidates have registered for 12 vacancies. The examination is being held over two days, Sunday and Monday. During his visit, Kesri Singh inspected examination centres at government schools in Manak Chowk, Jhotwara, Gandhinagar and Gangauri Bazaar. He said the commission would make efforts to declare the results as soon as possible after the examination process is completed. Addressing media, Kesri Singh said the RPSC conducts the highest number of recruitment examinations in the country. He credited the state government's measures and the administrative machinery over the past two-and-a-half to three years for strengthening the examination system. "The way the government and officials have worked over the last two-and-a-half to three years, it is clear that no one can succeed in leaking examination papers. There have been no paper leaks in Rajasthan during this period, and our top leadership has ensured that the dignity of the RPSC is maintained," he said. He added that paper leaks would not be a major challenge for the commission in the future. Instead, he said, the bigger concern would be tackling the examination mafia that repeatedly attempts to delay the recruitment process.
