Plaster falls off school ceiling, 4 kids injured
Udaipur, May 6 -- Four students were injured after the ceiling plaster at a government senior secondary school in Banswara district collapsed just four months after repair work, officials aware of the matter said on Tuesday.
The accident occurred on Monday morning in Amarthun village of Ghatol block while Class 11 science students were attending lectures.
According to officials, the injured students were immediately taken to the hospital, where they received first aid and were later discharged.
Local residents and school authorities stated that complaints regarding the dilapidated condition of the school building had been raised multiple times, but no proper action was taken. Despite recent repair work in the same classroom, the incident has raised serious concerns about construction quality....
