Pilot slams Centre over fuel price hikes, NEET leaks
Jaipur, May 26 -- Senior Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Centre and the Rajasthan government over rising fuel prices, inflation, repeated NEET paper leaks, foreign policy and the delay in holding local body elections in the state.
Addressing the media, Pilot alleged that petrol and diesel prices have been increasing continuously since the election results were announced. He questioned why the government did not announce the hike before the elections if it was necessary.
"During elections, they only wanted to give speeches. Now they are advising people to save money, reduce consumption of edible oil, avoid buying gold, while rising fuel prices are pushing up inflation on all fronts," he said.
Pilot said NEET papers had been leaked for the third consecutive year in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and each time action was taken only after the matter was exposed publicly.
"If the government was truly concerned about the youth, it would fix accountability, seek resignations, dismiss officials. But it is unwilling to do so," he said. HTC...
