Over 6 million families availing CM LPG subsidy scheme: minister
Jaipur, March 11 -- Food and civil supplies minister Sumit Godara on Tuesday informed the House that 10,837,942 families are covered under the National Food Security Scheme in Rajasthan. Of these, around 6,896,046 families have been provided LPG subsidy so far.
Replying to supplementary questions during Question Hour raised by MLA Babu Singh Rathore, the minister said 6,106,474 families are currently availing benefits under the chief minister's LPG cylinder subsidy scheme, while 782,572 families - despite having their LPG IDs mapped - have not yet availed the scheme's benefits. Godara stated that till December 2025, as many as 56.8 million cylinder refills have been completed under the scheme, with the state government disbursing Rs.1,051 crore in subsidy.
