Jaipur, Sept. 11 -- Rajasthan has launched a month-long statewide campaign to strengthen mental health services and raise awareness about suicide prevention, running from September 10 to October 10, officials said on Thursday. Launched on World Suicide Prevention Day, the campaign will promote timely mental health support, particularly among children, adolescents and young people. Gayatri Rathore, principal secretary, medical and health, and chairperson of the State Mental Health Authority, said "Listening to a person, understanding them and connecting them with timely help are extremely important steps towards suicide prevention," The campaign will include awareness rallies, workshops, quizzes, competitions and social media outreach.
