BIAKNER, Aug. 14 -- A 35-year-old woman died after her husband allegedly set her ablaze by pouring petrol on her at her parental home in Sri Ganganagar district, police said on Thursday. The woman, identified as Pooja, suffered burns on nearly 80% of her body and died while being taken to a higher center in Bikaner for treatment. Vishnu Kumar Khatri, Circle Officer said the incident took place around 2.30am on Monday. The accused, Sultan Ram (40), entered the woman's paternal house through the terrace and set her on fire.
