Bharatpur/Dausa, July 24 -- A 40-year-old man was arrested on Thursday in Dausa district for allegedly killing his nephew over suspicion that the relative had an illicit relationship with his wife, police said on Thursday. The incident took place near Bhandarej overbridge under Dausa Sadar police station limits on Tuesday when the body of an unidentified man was recovered, police said, adding that the deceased was later identified as Saurabh Regar, 30, from Regar Mohalla under Dausa Sadar police station limits. Police said that the uncle of the deceased took him to a nearby overbridge and killed him. The arrested accused was identified as Ashok Regar who suspected an illicit relationship between his wife and nephew, police said. He took his nephew to drink liquor where he killed him by attacking his throat with a broken bottle, police said. Dausa Sadar police station in-charge, Yudhishthir, said, "After recovering the body of an unidentified man, police started an investigation and later identified the suspected killer through CCTV footage."
