Due to activation of a western disturbance and easterly winds coming from the Bay of Bengal, thunderstorms accompanied by squalls (40-50 kmph) and light rain at isolated places are likely to occur in the next 3-4 days in the afternoon. In the first week of May also, heat wave conditions are likely to be recorded at some places in the state and thunderstorm and storm activities are likely to be recorded in the afternoon."
