kota jee aspirant found dead in suspected suicide case, say police
Kota, June 29 -- A 17-year-old girl preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) died after falling from the Vigyan Nagar flyover in Kota district in a suspected case of suicide on Saturday night, police said.
The deceased has been identified as a student from Bihar who had come to Kota in January this year to prepare for the JEE examination. She was staying at a paying guest (PG) accommodation in the city.
According to police, the incident took place under the Vigyan Nagar flyover near Shriji Hospital. Passersby spotted the injured student and alerted the police. Officers rushed to the spot and shifted her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead during treatment.
SHO Mukesh Meena said, "Though suicide is suspected, the exact cause of the student's death is yet to be ascertained. The body has been kept in the mortuary, and the student's family in Bihar has been informed about the incident."
The autopsy will be conducted after the family arrives in Kota. Investigators said they are collecting information from the student's PG accommodation and coaching institute as part of the probe....
