India will not spare those who target our citizens: Rajnath
Jaipur, May 15 -- Defence minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday issued a stern warning to Pakistan, saying that if it attempts to challenge India again, "what has never happened before will happen." Stressing that India follows a "zero tolerance" policy against terrorism, Singh said the country's security policy has undergone "wide-ranging and historic changes" over the past decade under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Addressing the unveiling ceremony of the statue of warrior saint Rao Doodaji in Merta town of Rajasthan's Nagaur district, Singh said Rajasthan's land has always inspired sacrifice and patriotism, with soldiers from almost every household joining the armed forces to defend the nation.
He described Rao Doodaji as a symbol of courage and valour whose life serves as an inspiration for future generations.
"Rao Dooda represents determination, dedication, strength and bravery. His equestrian statue gives the message of moving forward together as a nation," he said.Referring to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, Singh said the entire country was outraged after the incident and that India's response through Operation Sindoor had "shaken the enemy."
"India does not provoke anyone, but if someone provokes India, we do not spare them. India is not a country that will sit quietly. If our citizens are attacked, we will enter their homes and strike them. No border can stop us," he said. He said the Indian Army taught Pakistan a lesson during Operation Sindoor....
