Jaipur, Aug. 21 -- Weather conditions changed in Jaipur on Thursday afternoon, with heavy showers reported from several parts of the capital, leaving blocked, waterlogged roads and disrupting normal movement in some areas. Meanwhile, two flights were diverted to Jaipur International Airport in the early hours of Thursday after adverse weather conditions in Delhi affected flight operations. The rain in Jaipur came as the Meteorological Department forecast predominantly dry weather across Rajasthan over the next two weeks, from August 21 to September 3, with rainfall likely to remain below normal across most parts of the state. According to the forecast, most parts of western Rajasthan, particularly the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions, are expected to remain mainly dry during the first week. However, isolated areas of Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu and adjoining regions may receive light to moderate rain between August 21 and 23. Eastern Rajasthan is also likely to experience weak monsoon conditions. Most areas of the Udaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions are expected to remain mainly dry, while some parts of the Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions and districts in the Shekhawati region may receive light to moderate showers during August 21-23....
