Ajmer, May 17 -- A gym trainer has been booked for allegedly recording obscene videos of women and blackmailing them, after his wife filed a complaint against him, in Ajmer district, police said on Saturday. According to the complainant, her marriage was solemnized on March 1, 2025, with Indra Kumar Tank alias Jeet Kumar Tank, a resident of Kishangarh who operates a private gym in the city. A few months after marriage, the woman allegedly discovered objectionable chats, photos, and videos involving other women on her husband's mobile phone, while the accused was in jail regarding an earlier case. The complainant also alleged that her husband pressured her to bring other girls to the gym as well. Based on the complaint, Madanganj police registered an FIR on May 13, 2026, under Sections 79 and 351(3) of the BNS along with Sections 66E and 67 of the IT Act. Ajmer SP Harshvardhan Agrawala said detailed investigation is currently underway. He confirmed that the accused is presently absconding and police teams are making continuous efforts to arrest him.
