Bharatpur/Dausa, June 13 -- A 45-year-old sub-treasury officer died by suicide on Friday, a day after he was named in a police complaint for the torture a junior woman officer in Dausa district, police said. The incident took place on Friday morning when the officer was found dead in his house at Mahwa. Mahendra Singh, Mahwa police station in-charge said that they recovered a suicide note, where he named a tehsildar, posted at Bhusawar and his relative, both related to the junior woman officer, stating that they were responsible for his death. Father of the deceased filed complaint against the tehsildar and his relative for threatening his son, officials said. The officer died a day after the female junior accountant, posted in his office, died under suspicious conditions on Thursday during a treatment in Jaipur.Her family filed a complaint against her senior, the sub-treasury officer, in Manpur police station. After the FIR against him, he had issued his statements that senior officials were in office for inspection where here condition deteriorated.
