Jaipur, Oct. 27 -- Rajasthan has over 110,000 government posts at various stages of recruitment, with 45,645 appointments expected soon, Chief Secretary V Srinivas said on Monday while reviewing recruitment and governance initiatives. The state has made 190,894 appointments during the current government's tenure, including through 11 employment fairs, against its five-year target of filling 400,000 posts. Srinivas directed departments to expedite pending recruitment and coordinate with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission and Rajasthan Staff Selection Board. Government expenditure reached Rs.1,01,969.52 crore by September 30 this financial year, up 16.28% from Rs.87,695.12 crore during the corresponding period last year. More than 833,000 employees have enrolled on the Centre's iGOT Karmayogi platform, with Srinivas directing departments to ensure at least one hour of training every Saturday.
