Governor BagDe emphasises on upliftment of tribal regions
Jaipur, May 15 -- Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde on Thursday said that the core objective of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rural Employment Scheme is to uplift the poorest person living in villages and ensure inclusive development in rural areas.
Addressing the "Skill Development and Women Empowerment Blessing Ceremony" organised in Bori, the Governor stressed the importance of education, moral values and empowerment of women, particularly in tribal regions.
Bagde said teachers should not restrict young children only to textbooks, but should also narrate inspirational stories to aid their mental and moral development. Referring to India's ancient education system, he elaborated on the country's rich educational heritage and underlined the need to promote ethical values among students through inspiring anecdotes from the lives of great personalities.
