Jaipur, Sept. 29 -- The Rajasthan School Education Department on Monday held a meeting with representatives of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to discuss expanding corporate participation in strengthening government schools through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Gyan Sankalp Portal. The meeting, chaired by additional chief secretary, School Education, Rajesh Yadav at the Shiksha Sankul, focused on identifying needs of government schools and connecting them with corporate and industrial institutions through the portal. Yadav said greater corporate participation in education was the need of the hour. He asked industrial institutions to maintain regular interaction with government schools in their respective areas and visit schools to assess their actual requirements.
