Jaipur, Aug. 31 -- Rajasthan remained dry for the third consecutive day on Sunday, leading to a rise in temperatures across the state. Sri Ganganagar recorded a maximum temperature above 40 degrees Celsius, while Jaipur registered 34.8 degrees Celsius. Maximum temperatures ranged between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius in Barmer, Jaisalmer, Alwar, Tonk, Jodhpur, Hanumangarh and Jhunjhunu. Weather experts have forecast mainly clear conditions across the state for the next three days. The monsoon has remained subdued in Rajasthan this season. The state has received 295.11 mm of rainfall so far against the normal 424.71 mm, a deficit of 30.51%. Of Rajasthan's 41 districts, 19 have recorded deficient rainfall, while 20 have received normal rainfall. Only Deeg and Phalodi have reported excess rainfall. No district has been placed in the abnormal excess or scanty rainfall categories. Balotra, Banswara, Baran, Bhilwara, Bundi, Dausa, Dungarpur, Hanumangarh, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Kota, Kotputli-Behror, Pali, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Tonk and Udaipur are in the deficient rainfall category. Ajmer, Alwar, Barmer, Beawar, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Chittorgarh, Churu, Dholpur, Didwana-Kuchaman, Sri Ganganagar, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Karauli, Khairthal-Tijara, Nagaur, Pratapgarh, Salumbar and Sikar have received normal rainfall....
