Bharatpur/Dholpur, July 2 -- The kin of dacoit Jagan Gurjar alleged foul play by the police in his murder inside a high-security jail in Ajmer, even as he was cremated in his native village Dholpur amid heavy police security on Wednesday. Pappu Gurjar, brother of the deceased dacoit, who was in Ajmer high-security jail with Jagan Gurjar, reached Dholpur to participate in the cremation. He told media that sleeping pills were given to Jagan then he was strangled while unconscious in the jail. "The killer was not only Vishnu, others were also involved in the murder of Jagan," Gurjar said. He accused the jail administration of planning the murder of Gurjar. All CCTV cameras were closed in the jail during the murder incident, Pappu alleged. Dholpur SP Vikas Sangwan said that three brothers of the deceased dacoit who had over 100 charges against him were taken to the cremation by court permission.
