Ajmer/ Bhilwara, Sept. 20 -- Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee member Manoj Paliwal performed a yajna in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at the Bhilwara District Congress Committee office on Friday, to pray for "wisdom" for state party chief Govind Singh Dotasara. Paliwal alleged that Dotasara had failed to discharge his responsibilities and demanded his immediate resignation. He termed the Congress leadership's failure to issue the party symbol for the Bhilwara mayoral election "unfortunate". "Leaving the battlefield even before entering it is a sign of cowardice. The Congress is now paying the price for it," he said. He alleged that Dotasara and the party's state in-charge had also failed to provide symbols to 17 Congress candidates in the municipal elections. He said the unopposed election of the BJP m ayoral candidate reflected the state leadership's negligence. "We performed the yajna today, praying that the state leadership gains wisdom and that the Congress does not face a similar situation in the Panchayati Raj elections," he said....
