Jaipur, Nov. 1 -- Chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Saturday said 193,000 young people had secured government jobs through 410 examinations conducted transparently, while recruitment for another 118,000 posts was underway. He was speaking at the 'Run for Unity' in Jaipur, organised to mark the 151st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Sharma and Union minister Pralhad Joshi flagged off the run. "Through 410 examinations conducted transparently, we have provided government jobs to 1.93 lakh young people. Recruitment for another 1.18 lakh posts is underway, and the recruitment process for over 70,000 additional posts will begin soon," Sharma said. "The state government is providing young people with quality education, transparent recruitment, modern sports facilities and better opportunities for skill development," Sharma said.A Rs.20-crore centre of excellence was being established to provide world-class facilities for preparations for the 2028 Olympics, he said, adding that 50 Khelo India centres had been set up.
