Jaipur, May 1 -- The online self-enumeration process of the Census to list the details of houses across Rajasthan will begin from Friday, officials said. "This is the first phase of the Census 2027. Our enumerators will start the house-to-house survey from May 16 to June 14. However, the ones who are not likely to be present at their houses during the scheduled period, may also register their details through self-enumeration process online from May 1 to May 15. In this phase, houselisting and housing operations (HLO) survey will be done," said the officials from the directorate of Census, Rajasthan. According to officials, a portal for the self enumeration- https://se.census.gov.in will be activated for these fifteen days from 6am to 12am daily. "This process aims to facilitate the families and their heads to take part in the census if they are busy or working in a different location. However, once their self enumeration is done, our enumerators will verify their entries independently during the field survey period of May 16," said the officer. He also warned the public against using the portal URL with the assistance of any search engine. Meanwhile, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma also appealed to everyone to take part in the Census actively. "The census is not merely a collection of data, but a great national yagya that determines the future direction of the nation. I urge all the citizens to embrace participation in the census as an opportunity for social justice. Rajasthan is the largest state in the country in terms of area. Census personnel will travel long distances to reach the people, so the public should cooperate with them in the Census work. This is the time to contribute for this nation by providing accurate, true and complete information related to house and family," he said. The chief minister stated that, furthering the vision of Digital India, citizens will also be offered the opportunity to self-enumerate between May 1 and May 15. He urged every citizen to take advantage of this opportunity and participate in this national responsibility by entering their information through the se.census.gov.in portal....
