BJP grown into a vast banyan tree: Sharma
Jaipur, Feb. 25 -- Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday said the BJP has grown into a "vast banyan tree" due to its ideological commitment and continuous training of its cadre.
Addressing the state-level workshop of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026 at the BJP state office in Jaipur, Sharma said the party functions with the spirit of "Nation First," where the nation comes before the party and the party before the individual. "BJP has grown into a "vast banyan tree" due to its ideological commitment and continuous training of its cadre," he said.
He emphasised that training is a continuous process in the BJP and forms the foundation of its ideological strength.
"A worker develops personality through a sense of responsibility, and personality building strengthens nation-building," he said, adding that a party driven by a clear ideology has today established itself across the country as a strong and expansive organisation.
The CM called upon party workers to reach out to the last person standing in society and stressed that a sense of duty is more important than the pursuit of rights. He added that along with political responsibilities, the BJP also prioritises social obligations.
