Ajmer, July 6 -- A 50-year-old author was detained on on Sunday in Ajmer district for allegedly posting an objectionable and abusive comment against chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on social media, police said. Naresh Raghani was booked under preventive provisions for breach of peace, and further legal proceedings are underway. The action followed a complaint submitted on Saturday by Vaishali Nagar resident Dinesh Parashar to Ajmer SP Harsh Vardhan Agarwal, addressed to the director general of police. Krishnaganj station house officer Arvind Charan said, "Raghani was taken into preventive custody on Sunday afternoon under provisions related to breach of peace. He was later taken to Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital for a medical examination, following which further legal proceedings were initiated."htc...
