Ajmer, Sept. 30 -- Ajmer police have arrested four men in connection with a viral video in which a foreign woman tourist was allegedly subjected to obscene and objectionable remarks. The police took suo motu cognisance of the video and registered a case after its circulation on social media. Sp Ajmer Harshwardhan Agarwala said, Cyber Cell conducted a technical investigation and identified the accused. The arrested men have been identified as Furkan, 25, Anees, 21, Farhan, 24 and Akhtar Ali, 22. All four are residents of the Ramner Road area of Kishangarh, Ajmer district. Police said the accused allegedly used obscene and inappropriate language while making a video involving the foreign woman tourist. The matter came to the attention of police after the video went viral on social media. Officials treated the incident seriously in view of the safety and dignity of foreign tourists visiting Ajmer and Pushkar.
