Pali, July 24 -- Three men were killed and two others injured after their car rammed the rear of a Rajasthan Roadways bus near Bandai Mod in Pali district on Thursday afternoon, police said. The deceased were identified as Hemu (20), Kushal (21), and Praveen (18), all residents of Panch Batti Sansi Colony in Jodhpur. The injured, Ronak (21), and Hanish (18), both from the same locality, were admitted to government hospital in Rohat. According to police, the Roadways bus was travelling from Pali to Jodhpur when the car crashed into it from behind. Preliminary investigations suggest the bus driver may have applied sudden brakes at a curve, while the car, allegedly travelling at high speed, failed to stop in time and slammed into the bus. Police said the victims were travelling from Jodhpur to Pali to visit the Om Banna shrine. Hemu, Kushal and Praveen were relatives. Kushal was a student, while Hemu and Praveen were engaged in small jobs, they said....
