Bharatpur/Dholpur, Sept. 6 -- Four members of a family, including three children, drowned after their car fell into a roadside pond in Dholpur district on Saturday, police said. The accident occurred in Phoolpura village under Maniya police station when 11 family members and relatives were travelling to Jaharpeer Baba temple. Police said the driver lost control on a waterlogged road following continuous rain, causing the vehicle to overturn into the pond. Villagers and police rescued the occupants and took them to Maniya Community Health Centre, where four were declared dead. The injured were referred to Mangal Singh District Hospital. According to police, the deceased were identified as Sapna Devi, 30; her children Harshit Kumar, 1, and Pranshi Kumari, 3; and their relative Divyansh Kumar, 3. Sapna's mother-in-law, Ganga Devi, and son Kanha were stated to be critical, while her husband, Shailesh Kumar, was undergoing treatment, police said....
