3 held for silver theft in udaipur jewellery store
Udaipur, March 31 -- Police have cracked the sensational theft at Mohit Jewellers in Kurabad police station area, arresting three accused and recovering around 30.8 kilograms of stolen silver ornaments. The case stunned investigators as the gang used unusual methods resembling a cinema-like plot to execute the crime.
Police team, led by superintendent of police Dr Amrita Duhan, arrested Shivlal alias Shiva Kanjar, Kalulal Kanjar and Mahendra Kanjar, all residents of Chittorgarh. According to police, all three are habitual offenders with multiple theft cases registered against them.
Duhan said "During investigation, it was revealed that the accused used to disguise themselves as women and do not carry mobile phones while committing thefts. They wore women's clothes at night and carried out the crime without being discovered. This tactic helped them evade police detection for a long time."...
