Dehradun, July 11 -- The National Green Tribunal (NGT) principal bench in New Delhi has directed the Almora district magistrate to submit a detailed status report on the remedial and punitive measures taken to address improper disposal of municipal solid waste along the banks of the Saryu River at Sera Ghat, after an inspection found inadequate waste management infrastructure on the Almora side of the river.
