Haldwani, May 25 -- Nainital police have arrested a 21-year-old man and recovered stolen gold jewellery worth around Rs.30.5 lakh linked to three burglary cases reported over the past year in the Bindukhatta and Lalkuan areas, police said on Sunday. The accused has been identified as Bhanu Pratap, a resident of Mudiya Navi Baksh in Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said. Police said he was arrested on May 23 during a targeted operation conducted in the Bindukhatta area following specific intelligence inputs.
