Dehradun, April 11 -- Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday directed officials to accord top priority to issues concerning constituencies raised by their public representatives. Chairing a review meeting regarding assembly segments in Nainital and US Nagar districts, Dhami said legislators "convey the problems of their constituencies to the government and it is the responsibility of both the administration and departments to take them seriously". The chief minister instructed chief secretary Anand Bardhan to ensure better coordination among departments for projects involving multiple agencies and to review their progress regularly to avoid delays. He also emphasised continuous dialogue with legislators for faster resolution of grievances. Dhami directed officials to "complete cleaning of storm drains and desilting work before the monsoon and strengthen preventive measures against forest fires during summer"....
