Mussoorie, May 11 -- Authorities have ordered closure of the Government Primary School in a village in Pauri district till Tuesday as a precautionary measure after two leopards were spotted on the school campus, officials said on Sunday . The incident occurred during the morning assembly when students and teachers had gathered for prayers on Saturday morning in the school in Sasaun village in Ekeshwar block. Deputy education officer, Ekeshwar block Manoj Joshi said, "The encounter occurred during the morning assembly when teachers and students were gathered for prayers. After spotting two leopards perched on the boundary wall, residents raised an alarm and teachers immediately moved the students safely inside the school building." Joshi said a formal administrative order regarding the closure will be issued on Monday. "No student shall be compelled to attend school under such conditions as the priority remains physical safety," he said....
