Dehradun, Sept. 21 -- Uttarakhand Forestry Training Academy in Haldwani has decided to waive accommodation chargesfor forestry students fromgovernment institutionsvisiting the academy for educational training andstudy tours, to promote ecological study, officials said on Sunday. Under the initiative, students will be allowed to stay free of charge at the academy's Mayuri Hostel, where accommodation was earlier charged at Rs.300 per day per room which was same as applicable to government employees.
