Rudrapur, June 4 -- A Uttarakhand Roadways driver was crushed to death by his own bus after it suffered a brake failure on the Lohaghat-Pithoragarh highway in Champawat district on Wednesday. The bus was travelling from Dharchula to Tanakpur with 37 passengers on board. According to police, driver Beni Ram Bhatt (40), of Champawat district, lost control of the vehicle after the brakes failed and steered it towards the hillside. The impact caused the driver's side door to swing open and he was thrown out of the vehicle and was run over by its rear wheel, resulting in his death, the officials said....
