Rudrapur, July 20 -- Police arrested two interstate drug smugglers with more than 2kg of opium during a late-night vehicle checking operation in Rudrapur, Udham Singh Nagar district, officers said on Sunday. According to police, personnel from the Bagwara police outpost were conducting routine checks on NH-74 near Kichha Road when they spotted two motorcycle-borne men behaving suspiciously. On noticing the police, the duo attempted to flee on their motorcycle.
