India, Sept. 27 -- Comedian Rajat Sood has reacted to the viral video showing a professor grabbing a student by the collar on stage at Nirma University, Ahmedabad, where he was performing. Taking to Instagram, Sood (rajatsoodpomedy) joked that he somehow always ends up at "crime scenes" when something unexpected happens. Addressing messages asking if he was also attacked, he clarified, "Mere saath aisa kuch nahi hua." He then joked about his apparent knack for being around unusual incidents: "Mereko apne baare mein ek cheez samajh mein aa gayi hai ki main na, crime scene manifest kar raha hoon." Recalling the incident, Sood said the faculty member had come on stage to praise him after his performance, but after a student said something, the professor grabbed the student by the collar. Referring to another controversy recently at The Habitat in Mumbai, Sood added that he had been present there too when the venue was vandalised following a controversy involving comedian Kunal Kamra. "Mujhe yeh samajh aa chuka hai ki main Crime Patrol ke episode se do kadam door rehta hoon. Poora jeevan mera emergency situation mein hi guzar raha hai" Sood said as he captioned the video, "Mere saath aisa kyun hota hai." A video, which has garnered over a million views, shows a professor confronting a student during a university event. As the professor spoke on stage, the student shouted, "Jaldi kar, Panvel nikalna hai," a popular dialogue from Golmaal 3 (2010). The professor called the student on stage, grabbed him by the collar, and reprimanded him for interrupting. "I can go to any extent. The day you dare to insult any faculty member of the University campus, you are gone forever," he said.
