Uber's CEO spotted on the Delhi Metro
India, May 20 -- During his visit to India, Dara Khosrowshahi, the CEO of Uber, was spotted riding the Delhi Metro and the internet can't get enough of it. Sporting a Modi jacket, Khosrowshahi booked his metro ticket via the Uber app before boarding the train with Prabhjeet Singh, President of Uber India and Vibhor Jain, CEO of ONDC.
Sharing glimpses from the ride, Khosrowshahi spoke about how the future of urban mobility lies in seamlessly connecting every mode of transport, beyond just cars. Uber has already enabled over 10 million metro rides through its app in India, with metro ticketing currently live across five cities. "This is just the beginning... this public-private partnership model for transit is something we're excited to take to more mega cities around the world," Khosrowshahi says.
With India Gate in the backdrop and the chaotic Delhi traffic all around, social media users agreed that taking the Metro was the most Delhi thing the Uber CEO could have done. HTC...
