Tourism takes centre stage in the Capital
India, July 18 -- Policymakers, industry leaders and global tourism stakeholders gathered in the city for the annual conclave of the Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) on July 16 and 17.
Themed Incredible India: Invaluable Economics, the conclave focused on strengthening tourism's role as a key driver of economic growth while charting a roadmap to enhance India's global appeal as a travel destination.
It was inaugurated by Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Union Minister of Tourism and Culture, who joined discussions on accelerating the growth of India's tourism ecosystem. Adding a touch of star power to the event, actors Boman Irani and Anupam Kher spoke about tourism in their sessions. htc...
