India, May 23 -- Commuters zipping through Delhi's chaotic roads are doing double-takes lately. The reason? An unusual sight as the auto rickshaws plying on city roads (whichever ones are plying amid the so-called strike) are flaunting huge posters featuring US President Donald Trump, paired with the message 'Happy Birthday America'. In classic Delhi style, the bold American-themed visuals on the backs of autos are stealing the spotlight. The campaign is a part of celebrations marking 250 years of America's independence, which the US will celebrate on July 4. Nearly 100 autos across Delhi have been transformed into moving billboards featuring Trump, the Statue of Liberty, and other US-inspired branding. The initiative was rolled out last month under US Ambassador Sergio Gor, with the embassy also amplifying the campaign online and encouraging Delhiites to spot these 'freedom on wheels' autos across the Capital.
