Sledging in Pak vs Ban Test match gets a B'wood touch
India, May 21 -- Tempers flared on Day 4 of the second cricket Test match between Bangladesh and Pakistan in Sylhet on Tuesday. A heated exchange broke out between Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and Bangladesh's gloveman Litton Das over repeated interruptions near the sightscreen. But it was the home team's hilarious sledging that stole the spotlight.
When Rizwan complained, "Someone is standing there (near sightscreen)," Das quipped, "Now that he has scored a 50, he will start his overacting." As Rizwan's actions frustrated the fielding side for breaking their momentum, one player was heard on the stump mic delivering the iconic dialogue from Hera Pheri (2000): "Iss overacting ke liye hum 50 paise kaatenge."
