India, Sept. 12 -- There was an Oscar on the floor and her newborn son on her lap when Sandra Bullock finally settled in at home after the 2010 Academy Awards. The actor, 62, has revealed that she barely remembers the ceremony because she had slept for "maybe two hours" while secretly caring for Louis, whom she had adopted weeks earlier. Bullock recalled the night on Live with Kelly and Mark on Thursday. She had won Best Actress for The Blind Side (2009), but her mind was largely on getting home to feed Louis, who had acid reflux and woke every two hours. "I was hiding a newborn. No one knew I had Lou," she said. When host Mark Consuelos asked what she remembered about winning, Bullock initially joked, "Nothing!" Kelly Ripa responded, "Nobody does." Bullock said she wanted to leave because she knew the person looking after Louis was "probably struggling", but she could not simply walk out. She attended the after-party and had to wait for her Oscar to have her name put on it before leaving. When she finally got home, she was still in her Oscars gown and could not get out of it. "I just sat in the dress with Lou," she recalled, adding, "The Oscar was on the floor, and Lou was on my lap." Bullock said the exhaustion may actually have made the overwhelming night easier to handle.
