ctor Ram Charan found himself at the centre of a meme fest after not one, but two awkward slip-ups during the grand music launch of Peddi in Bhopal. The actor first left fans stunned after mistakenly calling Indian cricket star Jasprit Bumrah a "footballer", before accidentally addressing the Bhopal crowd as people from Bihar. As clips from the event exploded online, Ram Charan later took to X to apologise (top right), calling it a "genuine human error" made in the middle of all the excitement.
The viral moment unfolded during an interactive segment where Ram described Sachin Tendulkar's career as a "long, legendary run", called MS Dhoni "calm and cool", and summed up Virat Kohli in one word: "Fire".
But things quickly went offside when he turned to Bumrah. "I love football and football ko itne aage bada rahe ho," Ram said, accidentally confusing the cricketer with a football star.
