Pastels, prints and festive silhouettes: W for Woman's summer line at Paris Fashion Week
India, March 15 -- When W for Woman presented its Spring-Summer 2026 collection at Paris Fashion Week, the runway told several stories of modern Indian dressing. The brand, part of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., introduced a series of capsules that reflected different moods of summer style.
One of the highlights was Poetic Reverie, a line inspired by summer weddings. The looks featured soft pastel shades, airy fabrics and delicate embellishments. Flowing silhouettes gave the outfits a romantic feel, while detailed craftsmanship added a sense of occasion. The pieces were designed to feel festive but light enough for warm-weather celebrations.
Another capsule, Pristine Summer, focused on clean and polished dressing. The collection used simple bicolour palettes and subtle surface details to create a refined look. The silhouettes were sleek and modern, making them suitable for daytime celebrations and elegant summer gatherings.
For festive moments, the Youthful Celebration line brought energy to the runway. Vibrant prints, playful embellishments and lively silhouettes defined the collection. Accessories like flowing capes and decorative potli bags added a fun, contemporary twist to traditional festive wear.
The collection also included Holiday: The Indian Way, which reimagined resort dressing through an Indian lens. Relaxed silhouettes, bold prints and graphic patterns created outfits that felt easy and vibrant, perfect for vacations or relaxed summer outings.
Together, these capsules highlighted how Indian ethnic wear is evolving. The designs kept traditional elements like embroidery and craftsmanship but presented them through modern shapes and lighter fabrics.
After the Paris showcase, the runway collections are now available across W for Woman stores in India and on the brand's official website, allowing shoppers to explore the same looks that appeared on one of fashion's most influential runways.HTC...
